(Problems with magnets links are fixed by upgrading your torrent client!)
::::::::::Info:::::::::: Release: uTorrent Version: 3.4.1 Build: 31395 (32bit) Year: 2014 Genre: Torrent Client Size: 1.21 MB (1,271,376 bytes) Size on Disk: 1.21 MB (1,273,856 bytes) ::::::::::NOTE:::::::::: This was the last release of uTorrent before they fully began to disable our user options that specifically targeted their ads. It is also one of the last smallest clients that uses so very little system resources. In my opinion, the best release of uTorrent ever, bitch. ::::::::::Install Instructions:::::::::: I.) Disconnect from the internet. II.) Run "Setup/Install.exe" to install the client. III.) Open the uTorrent client, then access [Options] to [Preferences] via top menu. IV.) From the [General] option via the tree on the left, uncheck 'Automatically install updates' under the [Updates & Privacy] section. (Also assure 'Update to beta versions' and 'Send detailed info..' are both unchecked.) V.) Click [Advanced] from the left menu, then type 'offer' into the Filter box. VI.) Sexually, double-click any that say 'true' until they orgasm 'false'. Click [OK]. VII.) DO NOT fuck with the Advanced Options unless you know what you're doing. VIII.) From the main window, once again click [Options] and uncheck 'Show Bundles', 'Show Devices', and 'Show Plus Information'. Then check 'Narrow Toolbar' and 'Compact Category List'. IX.) I have not found a reason to upgrade to any current versions of uTorrent. They have always been my overall favourite Torrent client (except for WinMX back in the day. Gotta show love.) This is the version released right before they (in my opinion) sold out and stopped listening to their users because they are now gonna become their customers. Regardless of their decisions on all of that unsexy fluff, their torrent clients are sweet like bear meat and fine like cherry wine, especially this release. Main deal with this version is besides not having preloaded harsh ads happening, this version still gives the options for disabling a lot of the ads, thus giving us back a great deal of bandwidth and system memory. So yeah, this is what you get: No ads, super low system resources used, faster start-ups and more firm connections. All around easy on the eyes and heart, yo. Just precious in all fashions. The way it should have stayed, son. That all being said, please keep in mind that the above are all just my opinions and personal diary-worthy feelings about this software. My recommended changes in options and such are what I've found to be the best for achieving top speeds with little system usage, which is the goal for any online client of these sorts. Hope some of you find this useful and appreciate older clients. Updating/upgrading isn't always the best thing. Take the time to understand what changes are happening before updating ANY software. ::::::::::Source:::::::::: uTorrent.com back in 2014 ::::::::::Tools:::::::::: SPHERE Revolution v0.1.5 vLtrz Media Mainframe v1.0.1 ::::::::::Credit:::::::::: http://www.uTorrent.com http://www.NerdyJustin.com
